My plate is very full with family events, a promised custom order, a job so busy I may need to work overtime, and filling in my spare time with the twining lesson.
I'm a little sad because I was making such wonderful things and now I can't really focus on that:(
I may be quiet but I'm working hard over here:)

Gorgeous Mary! Very unique! The combination of the twined column with the beautifully executed connector and bail is perfect.
ReplyDeleteHoping your life calms down soon for you!
Mary, This is another stunner! I love how you incorporated different weaves within the twining. The top and bottom scrolls are the perfect frame for the center. The stones of the necklace unify the whole. Are they labrodite (mis-spelled?)? Whew...when your wire creativity has a moment, it is awesome.
ReplyDeleteHope the full platter of life eases a bit so there are more moments to relax and create.
What a gorgeous necklace!!! Amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry things are so hectic for you! It's always tough when life gets in the way and we can't be as creative as we want to -- I've totally been there before.
Would you be able to take, say, 20 minutes a day to work on creative projects? When I'm really pressed for time I'll set the timer. I'll have all my supplies set up in a corner of the house, ready to go. I know it's not a lot of time, but even those stolen moments are better than nothing. Just a thought. :)
Hang in there!
Mary, that's beautiful! I can't wait to learn some twining- who knew it could be so versatile?
ReplyDeleteHopefully, when things calm down, you'll be able to pick up where you left off. Here's hoping your muse sticks in there with you :)
I love this one! just cool....

Thank you friends! I'm not at my best this week. Keeping my nose to the grindstone so I can get back to jewelry and blog participation sooner.
