One Good Turn Deserves Another

Today is my Dad's birthday. One of his hobbies is turning wood into bowls on a lathe. Here is an example of one of my favorite bowls. I love the grain, the blond wood, and the blackened burned wood contrast.


The coffee pot was originally created as his gift, but than I decided a miniature bowl was more suitable. I believe it measured about 2.5" in diameter. It feels absolutely lovely in the hand. I wish you guys could have held it for a moment
