I am really enjoying this very narrow focus on rings. My job continues to be high pressure and I enjoy coming home to the repetitive labor and tiny world of one ring at a time. I challenge myself by making each one different and seeing how many ideas I can come up with.
Iolite, aquamarine, peridot, fine silver
chrysoprase, fine silver, gold fill
Some of my rings I would make again exactly the same, and some I would never make again, some I would make again with improvements.
I expect most of them will go into the Etsy shop in the coming weeks. Soon as I find time. If your interested keep an eye out.

mary i like the second ring, so beautiful !
ReplyDeleteMary, Each ring is a minature work of art. The precise detail in your weaving combined with the gorgeous stones makes for an outstanding piece. Weaving in such a tiny place can't be easy yet your expertise shines. Well Done!!
ReplyDeleteThat first one says ME all over it!!!!! I am in love! I love band rings. I've never seen anyone make something that incredible! Oh wow!!! How very, very clever of you, Mary! You rock :) The second is superb, too. I love how much the coiling adds to it. And, that stone..... jaw dropping...... These are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteIt never ceases to amaze me how different designs speak to different people.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these rings I would do again but with improved variations.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if my 'improvements' caused some people to like the design less.
It reminds me how personal jewelry is:)
Thanks for your comments friends!!
I just love your rings! You're a master at this!
